Blue Ridge Parkway : On this route there are lots of beautiful green mountains, which have several hiking trails just waiting to be explored. There are also ancient rock formations and spectacular waterfalls. It will take around 2-5 days and it starts in Cherokee and passes through the amazing Pisgah National Forest, several state parks, Roanoke and ends at the Shenandoah National Park.

Driving in The USA

Remember that in the USA they drive on the right, it is important to keep this in mind when overtaking or turning.
You can turn right at a red light unless stated otherwise.
You must come to a complete stop at a stop sign. At a 4-way junction with four stop signs, the driver who arrives first goes first. If drivers arrive at the same time the driver on the right goes first.
Speed limits vary from state to state. Make sure to look out for road signs. In urban areas speed limits are generally 25-30 mph and for motorways they range from 65-80 mph.
Some of Sardinia’s best attractions
Sardinia is known for its fantastic coastline and ancient history. Below we have put together some of the best sights to visit
Capo Testa
In Northern Sardinia, between the Costa Smeralda and the Maddalena Islands, Capo Testa has crystal-clear turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. These beaches are the island's most picturesque beaches.
These beaches are free in comparison to those on the Costa Smeralda and you don't need to take a boat to get to them. It is recommended to go to Santa Reparata for windsurfing and snorkeling.
Castelsardo
An old and busy little fishing harbor town, which is full of pastel-colored buildings. By going up the hill you will be able to visit a 12th-century castle with a museum that explores the local specialty of basket making.
Amazing views of the coastline can be seen at the top. The Duomo, in the little plaza below, has one of Sardinia's finest altarpieces, which dates back to the 15th century.
Tour Nuraghe Su Nuraxi
This ancient village is the nearest one to Cagliari, which even offers 30-minute tours and English-speaking guides. The outer walls were built in the 11th or 12th century BC. You can go inside the tower and climb to the top for a close-up view of the stacked dome.
Make sure to visit the Casa Zapata Museum after exploring the towers. Here you can find fascinating exhibits and another nuraghe.
Santa Cristina Nuraghe and the Holy Well
This is one of Sardinia's most diverse archaeological attractions, where you can visit a well-preserved "holy well". There is also a well temple dating back to 1100 BC and a nuraghe tower where you can climb to its open wildflower-strewn roof for views of the prehistoric stone village.
Make sure to stop between the well and the nuraghe to see the group of tiny stone pilgrim lodgings, which were former monks' cells surrounding a 12th-century church.
