The whole process with Camperdays and Cruise America worked extremely well. Our flight was cancelled and we had to fly a day later, the Camperdays team helped us very quickly and the contact in the USA was also very easy to understand on the phone. Ryan and Lance even came in for us after work and handed over the motorhome. Everything was very clean, new crockery, cutlery and pots and pans. Bed linen and towels were freshly washed and clean. They explained everything in detail and were still very friendly even after repeated requests. We have had other experiences with Cruise America, but the station in Schaumburg, IL is highly recommended!

The staff were very attentive and took the time to explain how the MotorHome worked. We didn't check at the start but there was no tray in the microwave and it wasn't practical to use it. The clothes hangers in the cupboard were not of good quality and all fell down every time we drove. Above all the Motorhome is not at all adapted to winter, the heating is not sufficient at all and the vehicle is certainly not insulated for this period. I would advise future customers not to rent with Cruise America in winter, but why not at another time of year? (Personally, we returned the MH 4 days before because we were too cold both during the day and at night, even though we were plugged in electrically).

Unfortunately, all the indicator lights kept coming on while driving. ABS and cruise control, for example, were often not working. The engine was extremely loud, we could barely understand our own words. Even after several (expensive) phone calls and WhatsApp, we received no help. Cruse America simply broke off contact with us, even though we were given the name of a workshop. They had also forgotten to give us the key for the outside lockers, so we had to keep putting everything in the camper when we stopped to make sure nothing was stolen. Beds extremely uncomfortable. We travelled to our final destination 3 days earlier and skipped stops that were not on the direct route so that we had to drive as little as possible. Windscreen wipers virtually without function. We then returned the camper earlier.

+++ 1year old RV with just 50k miles - we had trouble with the electricity for the AC, microwave and plugs in the car when not hooked up - water from the shower ran out of the RV, so obviously a problem with the pipes all in all, we enjoyed the trip and the problems were minor for us so we'd rent again at Cruise America
