Everything was OK from collection to return. The vehicle was virtually new and only had 10,000 mi on the clock. A water hose, extension cable and 2 wedges were on board, as well as a mop, dustpan and hand brush. I will be back.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the camper was completely unacceptable. There were traces of previous users in the toilet, as well as used tissues, receipts, glasses, etc. The cooking surfaces and refrigerator were also dirty. If we had noticed this when we picked up the camper, we would not have accepted it. The condition of the camper itself was also rather poor. Leaving aside the scratches on the exterior, etc., there were several minor issues in the camper that could have been easily repaired. These included the safety lever on the shower screen, which is attached with screws that kept coming loose (even after we tightened them), and the very heavily applied duct tape. Nevertheless, after cleaning the camper ourselves, we felt very comfortable and the comfort of the camper is quite good. The pick-up and drop-off of the camper went very well. We were given a warm welcome and even the defects on the vehicle that had not been seen before were documented and recorded without any problems. All in all, it was still a nice holiday and we really liked the option of renting a camper.

All in all a great experience from the pickup to drop off. The guys at the Heathrow depot were fantastic. The van itself was very comfortable, but you had to be hooked up to power pretty much every night. A small dollar panel would be great. Not the van you'd take freedom camping up in Scotland for example. We were staying at friends and relations most nights so we're plugged in. I would recommend Roadsurfer for England and Wales, but not for Scotland.
