Why is it worth booking a campervan in Vancouver early?

Pick up your RV rental in Vancouver and spend a couple of days exploring this historic city that borders the Straits of Georgia. Vancouver is a noted “foodie” destination so stock up on market goodies before starting your road trip. With its national parks, lakes, and mountains, this part of Canada is ideal for a vacation in a campervan hired in Vancouver. The best time for a camper trip from Vancouver is between mid-May and mid-October but this is also when demand for vehicles is at its highest. To be sure of getting the dates, price band, and camper rental in Vancouver of your choice we recommend booking several months in advance. Every reservation comes with a fair and transparent cancellation policy and the option of changing your vacation dates at no additional cost should your plans change. Life in Vancouver and British Columbia focuses on the outdoors and traveling in a campervan really gives you the freedom to enjoy this. You can set your own timetable and spend every night in a different beautiful location. If you think the rental cost of a Camper in Vancouver sounds too expensive, compare it to the total cost of hotel rooms, car rental, and restaurant dining, and you'll be pleasantly surprised. If you're still not convinced, have a chat with a member of the CamperDays friendly support staff. They can answer any questions or help you plan your itinerary.

Cruise America C-25, Vancouver, written on 18 days ago

With over 70,000 km on the clock, our C25 was no longer in mint condition – the bathroom door stuck, a drawer wouldn't lock, the decorative film on some of the cupboards was peeling slightly, the mattresses were more like trampolines, a tyre pressure sensor would occasionally beep and the second battery for off-grid operation only lasted just over a day. Battery for self-sufficient standing only lasted just over a day. BUT the RV never let us down and accompanied us safely across the Rockies! Consumption was lower than expected at around 21 litres/100 km. Pick-up (van) and drop-off (Cal) were straightforward but – to put it mildly – reduced to the bare essentials. However, if you familiarise yourself with the vehicle a little, you don't need anything else, and the provider's app was very helpful in this regard. As we couldn't make phone calls in Canada, we had to contact Cruise Canada by email to arrange appointments, which worked very well. The travel agent CamperDays prepared us very well for our road trip and responded to our enquiries promptly – thank you for that! The price was more than fair, as it was the off-season. The only thing that would have been nice is a note that camping chairs are actually unnecessary in Canada, as there are picnic tables at every site we visited. In summary, in our experience, if you don't let minor flaws spoil your holiday and you familiarise yourself with the subject matter, you're in good hands here. One more thing, though – Cruise Canada was unable to provide a child seat due to Canadian restrictions. We had to buy a booster seat, only to throw it away again after three weeks. A solution needs to be found here; the competing provider offered one without any fuss.

Disaster!! Too bad I can't include videos here. The pick-up was quite something. Either the young lady was having a bad day or she hates her job... We got a camper that was completely filthy inside, the stove, table, bed. It was as if someone had just eaten in there with a toddler. When I mentioned this, she said she could get me some cleaning wipes and cleaning spray so that I could clean it myself!!!! On the first day, after two hours of driving, the drawer fell out completely, with mould and rust inside. Several things broke during the trip... the fridge kept turning off. The camper door was stuck, so we often couldn't use it. NEVER AGAIN!!!
