Extremely disappointed experience. The car was not cleaned, mould in all windows. We spent a day cleaning and therefore left later. The hose for city water was defective, so this could not be used on the RV pitches. In addition, the hose for the dump toilet water was also leaking and could not be fixed. The staff who greeted us when we dropped off the car seemed like they didn't want to be there. But we can guarantee that the next team that rents the car will get a clean car. We spent 2 hours on this before we dropped it off. We are extremely dissatisfied with this process and demand compensation.

The vehicle was not properly cleaned when it was handed over. For example, the extractor bonnet filters were very dirty. All the windows were dirty and much more. The camping table in the boot was so dirty and scratched that it was unusable. The kitchen pack was incomplete, cups had to be ordered in Seattle. The clothes rail in the wardrobe was worn out, so that the rail and the jackets kept falling down. The front flap of the sewing tube was missing, so stowing it away was an adventure every time. Shortly after handover, it turned out that the fly screen door was defective, but it could not be repaired or replaced in Seattle due to a lack of spare parts. In general, the vehicle was already showing clear signs of wear and tear. Its 100,000 kilometres were also noticeable in the chassis and driving behaviour.

With Cruise America it's a 50/50 chance how good the vehicle is. This time we had a relatively new C21 with few problems. Last time we had a total loss while driving, but this time it seemed to me in the yard that Cruise America had modernised the fleet quite well. The staff are very friendly, and no unrealistic expectations are placed on the return. The price-performance ratio is very good, but you should not have excessive expectations. The vehicle was superficially cleaned when you picked it up, but you shouldn't look too closely. Here you have to go to roadbear/El Monte,... The campers are then much better, but usually also much more expensive. All in all, Cruise America did a good job with this rental, and considering the relatively low price, the service was good. Expectations were met, but not exceeded.

- Unfortunately, we got a very old camper (130,000 miles on the clock, 3-5 years old), without a USB port in the driver's cab, already cracks in the upholstery, surfaces that are peeling off, many signs of wear inside and outside, one day a yellow warning light came on, but was off again the next day, for the price we would have liked a newer and more modern vehicle + the C-30 is very spacious and comfortable, it has taken us 3,800 miles well through the west of the USA

Motorhome has a V8 engine and gets a good 10 MPG.

Uncomplicated collection and return. Significantly cheaper than the competition. Vehicle had a few quirks, but all in all it was fine, safe and roadworthy.
