Pick-up and drop-off completely uncomplicated; we received a so-called upgrade; the vehicle was relatively new, a brand we did not know (Haval) but the equipment was average, i.e. e.g. controls of the vehicle very spartan (setting air conditioning, audio e.g.), also the camping accessories, e.g. camping table very old and partly broken, small things like clothes pegs etc. lacking; basic equipment but overall sufficient; everything works, but not a really good price/performance ratio.

Negative: The handover of the car was amateurish. The employee did not know how to open the bonnet or whether addblue was used. There was no indication of how to set up the bed (which turned out to be difficult as we could not find the intermediate boards, they were well hidden), nor was there any indication that we could empty the toilet on the spot when we dropped it off, which gave us an hour's drive looking for dump points. At the handover, the house battery switched off after a minute, the employee was disconcerted but said that it would go away when driving. It did not. In the evening, the battery broke down and we were able to replace the battery after 10 days without electricity in the car. Appointment at a garage, 2 hours waiting, journey etc. The air-conditioning/heating in the driver's cabin did not work, which gave us icy feet during morning drives in the Australian winter. We bought a thick blanket for our feet while driving! Cockroaches crawled around the car at night. We killed several every night. As compensation we were given a 120 Euro discount for 24 rented days (5€/night). Car drop-off by 3pm is also very early, in case I have to catch a flight at night. Positive: Large car with well thought-out interior, good engine performance, low consumption.

We used this site to hire a motorhome in Australia and everything was perfect. One week before our departure, we had to change our trip, one phone call and the change was made within the hour.

We are absolutely delighted with our motorhome and this company. Everything went very smoothly, we got on very well with the motorhome and had a wonderful holiday. If there were any initial uncertainties, the telephone hotline immediately provided us with friendly and knowledgeable help so that our problem could be resolved quickly. The return and cancellation process was very quick, uncomplicated and generous. We will definitely be booking our next trip to Australia with CamperDays and their mobile homes.

The problems with the car started on day 3. The sliding door kept popping open by itself, even on the motorway! So always stop briefly, jump out, close the door and get back in the car! Because the warning light and a sound always came on, so you couldn't drive on. Despite a visit to the garage in Sydney and again in Melbourne, the problem could not be solved! Unfortunately, it was not possible for us to get another camper, as they were all rented out

Collection and return very easy. Everyone on site was very friendly. Kitchen equipment was ok. (2 pots, pan, colander, kitchen board, toaster, kettle for gas and electric). Cutlery, cups, glasses. Vehicle was less than 2 years old. Carplay f. Navigation. Insurance package was very extensive.

The camper was very new, maybe rented out 10-15 times before. It had a few major flaws on the outside, all of which were already noted when we handed it over. Inside, everything was clean, functional and as good as new. All the things we needed for cooking were there, the introduction to the camper was great and the return went smoothly. We were able to sleep well inside with 2 large people and had enough storage space. We had booked the premium package and would book it again.

The check in process was quick and easy. The van itself had seen better days but it got us where we needed to go. We attempted to sleep the first night in it but there were not enough "boards" to make the bed so we kept slipping in the cracks. We gave up on trying to sleep in it and moved to a VRBO but still used the van to travel in. We The drop off process was even easier.

The booking via CamperDays and the various contacts with the teams were very good, unfortunately the THL agency in Australia with which they work is not up to scratch... Obvious market dominance, it's a factory! They don't pay any particular attention to the customer, either on pick-up or drop-off, and the campervans aren't in great condition or clean. The value for money is not up to scratch. ****équence, I had another month's booking for New Zealand and cancelled it.

Very friendly and competent handling at the pick-up in Brisbane and return in Sydney 😊 Van was well equipped and made our first campervan experience enjoyable. All in all, a good experience from the staff at the hire stations.

The vehicle was not called Mighty Double ab, but was from Maui, for six people instead of four. The space was therefore very good. The equipment with microwave, kettle, four burners in the gas cooker was very good. The total weight was probably around five or 7.5 tonnes (twin tyres at the rear), but thanks to the automatic gearbox on the Mercedes base vehicle, it drove very well and wasn't as loud as a Ducato, for example... The car had already suffered significant signs of wear over several years. Basically, however, everything worked and the condition was fine. All vehicle damage was documented photographically before we took delivery and sent to us by e-mail. As we rented the vehicle in the Australian winter in Brisbane, it was nice that we were given a double set of duvets at our personal request. A gas parking heater, as is common in Europe, is of course not available in subtropical and tropical Australia. Instead, there was an electric fan heater that we could use (if shore power was available).

First of all , right after picking up the van we noticed the battery wouldn’t last for more than 24h therefore we Had to drive 200km to the branch where we picked it up to change the battery as it was literally fried. Plus the new battery wouldn’t last for longer than 2 days. That would leave us with no option other than paying for a powered site unless we wanted to spend the night without fridge or water pump. The double bed was very uncomfortable to the point that we had to buy yoga mats to put underneath. The water tank capacity was quite low so after washing couple of plates it would be over. Also it would leak whenever you would fill it up. Find photo attached. Finally what I found the most annoying was the fact that the average fuel consumption per 100km was 12.1L which is incredibly high for such a van.

...the four stars are based solely on the price and the fact that there were no technical problems during the 4,000 kilometres driven that would have prevented the vehicle from being driven further. The general condition of the vehicle, and not only its appearance, is negative. I would have refused to take over the vehicle if I had not had comprehensive cover. "Traces of use" would only inadequately describe the visual condition.

Technically, everything was ok, but the vehicle was already very rugged. External damage from various previous owners. After all, the camper already had over 250,000 km on the clock. But it ran and technically everything was ok.

it took 4 hours to collect a functioning vehicle; the first vehicle obviously had a faulty starter battery, they offered to jump-start it, "then it will sort itself out", in addition the engine warning light was on; after we refused to take over, a replacement vehicle was prepared (another hour's wait), which then worked.

Vehicle was not cleaned very thoroughly. Fridge did not work with gas - despite taking the description into account: very annoying as no cooling on unpowered camp sites. When we took over the vehicle, the briefing was only given on request and was very superficial: the girls were very friendly and it was very busy when we took over the vehicle.
