Handover in Sydney was unfortunately completely incompetent, only videos, no personal information, just attempts to sell more insurance and additional services. The staff on site had no idea about the rented vehicle and its equipment. Drop-off in Darwin was fine, but there was no dumping point for grey water, despite the cleaning fee paid in advance.

Collection unfortunately without proper instruction. We had to work out many of the functions ourselves. Freezer compartment was completely frozen, so we had to defrost it first and couldn't do any shopping. Problems with the car battery turned out to be a faulty message that always popped up when we were connected to the power supply. Instead of telling us this, we spent a few weeks worrying that the car wouldn't start in remote locations. Returning the car to the totally overcrowded branch in Perth was also crazy. Just hand over the keys and leave. We had to explicitly ask for at least the minor faults to be noted so that subsequent renters wouldn't have the same problems. In view of the competitive environment, we would probably choose thl again next time. With a baby you have few alternatives. If you are only travelling as a couple, it is worth taking a look at the provider Star

The 1st motorhome that was offered to us had considerable defects (glass cover for gas cooker was missing, locking lever for table was missing, overall condition of exterior and interior was poor). The 2nd was 1 year old and in good condition. However, a few things came to light during the 4700km journey. A siphon was missing from the sink + shower basin (constant smell of sewage in the motorhome), the cables on the swivelling driver's seat were torn out after 3 turns (had already been mended several times but not properly), and within the 3 weeks the engine battery was discharged 3 times overnight and I had to rely on a jump start (system not well thought out). This is the 2nd time we've had this model, we didn't have this problem before. Overall, we still find this model very practical for 2 people.

The vehicle was very worn and noisy, the steering always pulled to one side, very unstable on the motorway. The motorhome equipment was great, but it was also very worn.

- Vehicle in a dreadful condition: - The motorhome was barely cleaned when handed over; for example, there was pasta with tomato sauce under the table - The fridge has smelled strongly of chemical cleaning products for weeks; the smell has transferred to the food - Only 1 of the 4 hob hotplates is working - The bed in the rear rests only on thin wooden planks - No insulation whatsoever - Damage to the front bumper; the underbody is sagging and has been taped up so that the vehicle can be steered to the left - Waste water outlet torn off (repaired with cable ties) - Burn holes in the blackout blind above the rear bed (repaired with tape) - Driver’s side window by the dining table is leaking - Passenger side window by the bed is leaking; result: the bed is wet after every rainfall - Front driver’s side position light is faulty - Living area door sticks - Living area door fly screen is faulty - Driver’s side window fly screen by the dining table is faulty - Storage compartment cannot be locked - Waste water hose is leaking in several places - Step is wobbly - Bathroom fittings are a disaster - Toilet already smells on handover - Multimedia system on the display keeps crashing - Fuel filler neck repeatedly blocked - Awning pull rod defective, provisionally repaired, - Awning is jammed - Cumbersome claims process for stone chip damage to the windscreen

Everything was good. The vehicle was reliable and stable on the road. Just make sure that the equipment provided matches the number of people you have declared.

We booked a Mighty but got an Apollo. We were told it was an upgrade, and if that's really true, I don't want to know what a Mighty looks like. We got a worn-out car that was partly dirty. What we saw in the pictures when we booked was not what we got. The mattresses for sleeping and sitting on while driving were not nice. (Stains and just worn out) We could get hot water 3 days out of 16. Not great when you're at a free camp and there's no camp kitchen to wash up in. We met some people who had a brand new Apollo that was much nicer and much better quality. We feel cheated considering we booked 11 months in advance.

Everything went smoothly. The vehicle was as good as new (2 years old, 40,000 km) and the equipment was as described and complete. Pick-up and return were hassle-free. We were very satisfied and had a great time.

We were travelling as a couple and had a Mercedes Sprinter. The mileage was 102 thousand kilometres, the camper had good equipment (Bluetooth connection, automatic gearbox, reversing camera) The camper ran without any problems and was easy to drive - technically flawless. However, the smell of the fridge was hard to bear, it smelled totally rotten. We made do with coffee and were able to neutralise the smell. We booked a package with towels and bed linen, which were also a few days old but clean.

So far a good vehicle. Unfortunately, there were a few little things like a flat key battery, a leaky window, the fridge door that didn't close properly and a loose contact in a lamp. Nothing major, but annoying. A small refund was made by the landlord.

The camper was very nice on the outside and inside at first glance. You could tell that it had been used. Everything worked. Only the fridge smelt a bit musty and the shower didn't look quite as nice. Otherwise, we were very satisfied and would rent a Mighty Camper again at any time. You just have to familiarise yourself with the technology. Then camping is no problem

The camper was handed over to us in very good condition, and we had a great time in it for the entire two weeks. However, with four adults, it is a bit cramped and very cosy, especially at night, so we would opt for a larger model next time. Unfortunately, the air conditioning is only in the driver's cab, so it was very warm at night and we slept with the doors open. Returning the camper was also very straightforward and quick. We would book through CamperDays again.

The roof tent was fine, but the car was in very poor condition. Parts had fallen off. There were dents and scratches everywhere, and the paint was peeling. The tyres had less than 2 mm of tread. The gas cooker was broken. The kettle was broken. The headlights were blind. We also had a breakdown with a faulty alternator and had to go to a garage. The car had 392,000 km on the clock and had been poorly repaired everywhere. Jucy USA was great. Jucy Sydney is not recommended.

The campervan was as specified and we felt very comfortable. The hire and return process was also very professional. Some water got into the campervan during heavy rain. This seemed to me to be more of a general problem than one specific to our campervan. The water seemed to be getting into the ventilation opening for the shower heater (not entirely sure).

Lack of explanations when picking up the vehicle. The refrigerator did not work for three days, and the instruction manual for the vehicle was for a different motorhome. We travelled with cockroaches for ten days and even found them in the beds. We bought some insecticide, but it wasn't enough. On the positive side, we received assistance that enabled us to get the refrigerator working again. We slept well and the trip went smoothly. Spacious vehicle for three adults.

We were a group of 6 people. The motorhome was in good condition inside, slightly worn seats, but otherwise spacious. However, it had travelled +215,000km. Unfortunately, we had two unfortunate incidents. There was a relatively heavy rain and a lot of water started coming in through a leaking window. Unfortunately, we couldn't sleep in the car and had to rent an Airbnb. On our second last day of the rental period, the car started making an extremely loud noise. The car suddenly couldn't drive and the steering wheel was completely tight. We called the rental company, who were very helpful and sent a mechanic. However, it took 2 hours before he arrived. The mechanic examined the car and it turned out that some parts of the car had broken that were not our fault. It required new spare parts, so we had to leave the car as the mechanic said it was not possible to continue. Again, the rental company was very helpful and sent us an Uber to take us to their office in Sydney where we were given a new car :)

Everything worked smoothly, but the camper had 612,350 km on the clock, and the engine and everything else, such as the tyres, etc., were in top condition, but the interior was very worn. Some of the pans, knives and plates provided were unacceptable – the vehicles are probably not cleaned if there is 1-2 cm of dust collecting next to the microwave in the built-in cupboard. However, the WhatsApp service for problems is excellent and very fast, but only during opening hours. You cannot influence whether you get a camper with solar panels or not – it's just a matter of luck. And when you end up paying the same amount of money as everyone else but get the oldest vehicle compared to the vehicles shown online, it's not exactly a great feeling, but all in all, it worked out for us.

The vehicle was in good condition. The only thing that happened during our 3 week trip was that one of the windscreen wipers fell off on the motorway. This was quickly fixed with a call to travellers autobarn who detected us to the nearest store to buy a replacement. Cost was completely covered by travellers autobarn. Great customer service.

The motorhome has far too many bells and whistles that you don't need but which massively restrict the space for living. Unsuitable for people over 1.70 metres as you are constantly banging your head. Less would be much more comfortable. Nobody needs a 2nd table and nobody needs 2 long benches in the back either. Storage space looks like a lot but is much less than you think

First and foremost I’d like to note that we are experienced campers and caravan users. We personally own an RV back home in the USA and feel very comfortable operating and navigating an RV. Unfortunately our trip was severely negatively impacted by using RVStar rental service and to echo the words of what an employee said at pickup, these caravans “are run into the ground”. Which was clearly demonstrated to us throughout our experience. We received poor service right from the start with a 3.5 hour delay in the agreed upon pickup time. When the vehicle was finally ready we did a walk around of the vehicle and noticed it was missing fresh water hoses, chairs, tables, and was overall very dirty including stains on all the main counters, and to top it off the door lock was broken. Luckily, the workers were able to replace the door handle before taking off however it still didn’t lock properly with the key provided throughout the entirety of the trip. This major delay set us back on our scheduled itinerary. We didn’t get to our first camp site until 11:30 pm, when originally it was expected we would get there at 8:30 pm. The delay was unfortunately just the start of the issues as the caravan continued to be in bad condition as we experienced the following: When we received the vehicle it was overall very dirty and did not look like it was even wiped down before given to us after the last guest. There was clear dirt and grime, we personally had to purchase disinfectant wipes to clean/wipe down the tables, walls and counters. The fridge was overall in bad condition. Upon opening the fridge it smelt rancid and we had to personally purchase baking soda to put in the fridge to attempt to get the stench out - which was unsuccessful. It was also dirty inside and required us to attempt to wipe it down. Not only did the above occur but the fridge didn’t even work properly causing lots of food waste - roughly $175 worth of groceries that we bought for the trip. We contacted RVStar support for this issue on our first day of the rental and were told that the fridge would get cold in a few hours after driving the vehicle and being plugged in over night. We were plugged into a camp site every night for over 10+ hours and the fridge never remained cold. When parked and plugged into a camp site, the AC unit would leak inside in multiple locations (see video). It was enough water that it caused our passports which were on the kitchen counter to get wet/damaged while we were sleeping. It also dripped right onto the table on top of our food while we were eating. When parked and attempting to open the windows, we noticed that some windows had missing nuts to hold them up, not allowing full usage of the windows for natural air flow. When getting ready to use the kitchen utensils, we noticed that all pans, plates, bowls, cups, etc were dirty and not washed. Before use of each item we hand washed it out of concern of it being dirty. When setting up our beds to sleep we saw noticeable stains on the blankets and pillows. Again we believe these were not washed from the previous users of the vehicle. I, myself who was sleeping in the vehicle with these blankets and pillows contracted conjunctivitis (pink eye) which we confidently believe was contracted from the dirty linens. The brown water container (blue & grey) was also lightly cracked causing leakage in the section where the container was housed allowing a puddle of urine to accumulate in the port. This caused a constant odor in the bathroom within the RV. All in all our rental service and experience in the RV was not enjoyable. The only positive was that the gas mileage and engine performance was good. We returned the RV in better and cleaner condition than it was received to us in. We wish the next guests luck in their rental and would not recommend this service to others.

According to the sticker, built 12/21 (or overhauled). Condition was more like a 6+ year old vehicle. Many things rattled: exterior mirrors; cupboard doors, table. Drawers regularly opened while driving. The waste water valve could only be opened and closed with great effort. The hoses for waste water and fresh water were far too short for an 8 metre vehicle. Leaky side window. Leaky shower. Fridge with sporadic breakdowns. Sporadic engine starting problems. Worn windscreen wipers. OK, we were able to complete our 3-week tour as planned. But it wasn't relaxing.

Several items of the motorhome faulty. Fault in the electrical system (alarm), leakage at the window and faulty fastener on drawer which caused it to keep jumping open.
