This was the second time we’d hired a motorhome for a holiday. In other words, we were still quite inexperienced in this regard. During our 10 days in Norway, we got to know our vehicle very well, even though the instruction manual inside was in Danish, Dutch and similar languages – certainly not in German, let alone English or French. It was great fun to travel around the Lofoten Islands in the motorhome, being spontaneous and stopping at a campsite or parking area at short notice, or even wild camping. The motorhome was swept clean on handover, and the crockery was clean. Our request in advance for a large bed was met, as I need one given my height of 194 cm. Many thanks for that. The mattresses were also good; we had no problems with them. A communication issue arose after just 100 km, when the motorhome’s oil warning light came on, but we received no reply from Touring Cars to our WhatsApp message. After checking it ourselves, we found the engine still had enough oil, so we were able to continue our journey to the end. Overall, we had a lovely holiday in the motorhome, though I do think the hire price of around €400 per night is very high. You need to bear this in mind when planning a holiday like this. Norway isn’t a cheap holiday destination (roughly 1.5 times as expensive as Germany), so you should factor that in. Next time we’ll be coming with our own campervan – northern Norway is absolutely stunning! Travel dates: June 2026, flying to Tromsø with a shuttle to Touring Car (worked very well!)

The delivery and return process was very quick and effective. The motorhome was in perfect condition although, considering the price, we feel that a more thorough cleaning of the mattress, which had rather nasty stains and hairs, would have been much nicer. This also happened to us on the seat in the dining area. We believe that such stains can be cleaned relatively easily and would be much more pleasant for the user.

We had SUCH a great time driving our camper around northern Norway. Absolutely loved it. Recommend it to all!

Unfortunately, charging the 2nd battery didn't work and so we often had no power for lights, fridge, step, heating and water.

A formidable experience. The feeling of freedom and not being subject to arrival times and places is special. I will definitely come back again.

Both of guys in touring cars were very kind and experts with enthusiasm for their work! We were 3 guys and we really enjoy the campervan, everything was very comfortable and cool

The water pump on the washbasin in the sink was defective. It only worked when another tap (shower or bath) was turned on. It was always a bit of a chore to wash up. I think it's a shame that there isn't even salt and pepper in the camper. Or even a hand soap. Otherwise the kitchen utensils were very well stocked.
