What is the value of the donation?

For each confirmed booking, CamperDays GmbH will donate €10 to a brown bear protection project in Romania. The cumulative value of CamperDays GmbH's donation will not exceed €2,500.

What is the project you are going to help?

Most of Europe's remaining wild bears are found in Romania. But they have a hard time there too: poaching, deforestation and habitat loss threaten bear cubs in particular. With our donation, we will help Romania's rescue centre to save even more wild bears.

The rescue centre in Romania works with a unique method: the orphaned bear cubs grow up almost as if they were in the wild. Contact with people is limited to what is absolutely necessary - this is the only way the animals can live in freedom again later. The little bears learn everything they need to live in groups of their own age in four enclosures. They move from one station to the next independently. As soon as the bears are strong enough, employees open the enclosure and release the animals into the wild.

How long does this campaign last?

The donation period refers to all bookings made between 22 and 26 December 2023.
